For the day, we will learn how to say hello or goodbye. Besides learning to say our names

Greet

These are used to greet in a formal way

• Good morning
• Good afternoon
• Good evening
• How are you?
• Good to see you

While these are used informally

• Hi!
• Hey!
• What's up?

Goodbyes

These are used to greet in a formal way

• Goodbye
• I look forward to seeing you again 
• Have a nice day! 
• Good night  
• See you later

While these are used informally

• Bye 
• See ya! 
• So long 
• Peace out! 
• Take care 

Introducing yourself

A: Hi. I’m Linda. What’s your name?
B: Hello. My name’s Jim.

Introducing others

A: This is my friend, Maria.
B: Nice to meet you, Maria.
